  • Audio doesn’t export to tape with video

Well, I finished my project and exported it to tape. Everything worked perfectly but I discovered some low audio in the tape when I proofed it. I went back to Premier and fixed the volume and hit the export to tape option again like I had done the first time. (Its set to render audio first)I can hear the audio through my camera when I play the timeline but it is mute when I try to export it out. The only thing weird I did was to render and replace a couple of audio clips in the timeline that were studdering because I needed to hear them real time to set the audio level. Is that what caused my problem? If so how do I fix it. The whole track is mute not just the clips I rendered. The sound track is enabled, the audio mixer is enabled and I didn’t change any of the export settings. I checked with some of my other sequences and they won’t export now either which tells me its a system wide issue. I’m already past my deadline on this thing so any assistance would be greatly appreciated!! My hard drive is defragging now in hopes it could be the solution. I’m working with PP1.5

The problem resolved itself after defrag. Apparently the fragmented drive wouldn’t let it play real time so it didn’t play at all??
