  mixing left/right channels in PPro 1.5?

  I just did a two-camera shoot where cam 1 took sound with one person wireless mic’d to the left channel and one to the right, so that I could adjust gain, etc separately for the two. Cam 2 recorded sound through a shotgun mic.

  I captured clips from both cameras into PPro 1.5 and have the shotgun’s audio on one track, and the audio for the two individuals from cam 1 on a second track. I feel so stupid, but I can’t figure out how to adjust the volume specifically for each of the two channels on the second track–or really how to “separate out” the channels.

  I tried duplicating the audio track from cam 1 so it’s on tracks 2 and 3, and then adjusting the pan for one track all the way to the left, and for the other all the way to the right, and then adjusting gain separately from there, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any help appreciated. Thanks-

  Hi…

  In the Audio Effects>Stereo folder there filters called “fill left” and “Fill right”

  Apply them to the different clips on your timeline…

  then just mix the volume of the clips or tracks as needed….
