Using Premiere Pro 1.5, when I zoom in or out of stills I get a very jittery motion effect. The area I’m zooming into seems fine but not in the periphery. I have “optimize stills” on and I tried interpreting footage as DV instead of square pixels. Any ideas on what would cause this?

What are the resolutions of the stills?

I scan all photos at 300 DPI. That’s makes them of a size that each have to be scaled down.

I usually scan at 72 DPI (Faster) and use a Photoshop droplet to resize to 300 DPI. This works great for me. Just a thought

I guess I should point out that this jittery effect shows up in the DVD, not in the Premiere monitor or the resulting .avi file. I use Adobe Encore for authoring/transcoding and have changed settings to different transcode presets but the jittery effect is still there.
