Dissolving between 2 sequential video layers.
If you are dissolving between video on 2 sequential layers, say out from 2 to 1 and I want to use a dissolve between them I am finding that the dissolve will only end on the cut. Is there a way to override this so it will center or start on the cut of layer 2 so it will dissolve into layer 1. I have been having to stretch the clip out the length of the dissolve and then adding it. This way is inefficient though and I was hoping there was a setting so I could do it in 1 or 2 keystrokes.
