  Master audio track

  I’ve been woring with a mono audio track (wav) in Premiere Pro.

  I have realize that when I import my track in a sequence with a stereo master track the volume of my MPEG-2 is reduce (even if my mono sound is added to the timeline into a mono audio track). When I import the same mono track in a sequence with a mono master track, my MPEG-2 is fine and the volume is not affected.

  Can anyone tell me what happens ? Or in what way a master track affects my project even without anything in it.

  It’s good that I found what my problem was but I don’t understand it.
