  • Problems importing audio into Premiere?

OK, I’m experiencing an issue and wondering if a) anyone else has also, and b) how did you circumvent it?

I’m simply trying to pull in a few .mp3 tags for a spot I’m editing. When I preview them outside of Premiere directly from the source files, they are complete and fine … but once I import into Premiere Pro, the last few seconds of each of the audio files are cut off – so I’m losing one word to a whole sentence off of each one.

Any clues as to why this might be happening and how I can fix it?

Also, has anyone experienced any difficulties importing mpeg files into Premiere Pro only to discover that it jacks up the audio so it’s no longer in sync with the video?

Obviously … having some audio problems. 🙂

    Thx!

From my experience, PPro likes wav files for audio. I’ve always converted MP3’s to wav’s and then import them.
