  Clip bin subs clips from 1 video clip.

  Hello,

  Does anyone know how to do this? I have 1 video clip captured into Adobe Premeire Pro say 50mins of footage. I then want to go through my footage and then make my clip bin organised with sections I want to use. Then I go back to my clip bin and I will then have various different clips instances made form the 1 master clip if that makes sense?

  So I might have 40 clips which were made from the main 50min vicdeo clip with a “file name” within Adobe premeire pro.

  This is a pretty normal workflow.

  Put the main clip into the source window, set the In and Out points, drag it back to the correct bin and rename it. Change the In and Out points again and drag it back to the bin. Rename and keep doing this until the entire clip has been cut into sections and renamed.

  Just do not delete the original footage since the clips in the bins are really just pointing to the original footage. If you then use the Project Manager to trim the project, it should create clips with the names used in the bins.

  Hello Steven,

  That’s the method I thought but was unsure if that’s the correct method. Many thanks for the info, I have not used the Project manager features yet but would like to give it a go and see how I go.
