  Glass Look Logo

  Hello; I wanted to know how to you get that “GLASS SEE THROUGH Look” most of these Local television Stations have on their logos or with CNN American Morning during the opening. Here is a sample from the Zaxwerks Gallaery https://zaxwerks.com/gallery/index.shtml The pic with the 10 logo or 5 logo is exacly what am looking to do. I am working with After Effects 6.5 and Illustrator CS2

  Add a displacement map effect on your BG. In the effect settings, use the logo letters layer as the actual displacement map. Crank up the values.

  Thanks alot. I like the responses I am getting. Anything that I am graetful in recieving. I will try that CSI tutorial. IF anyone else has other tutorials; please send them my way. I am looking for that GLassy Look.
