    hello.

what’s the best way to go about subtitling (for dvd release)? i need two seperate subtitle tracks (one danish, one english). is there a program for this? can i do this in premiere? should i do it with a dvd authoring tool? also, are there any tips / guidelines on how to subtile? what letters to make big ? how to slice up sentenes, etc if two people speak on screen? what font, size, colour, shadow(?) to use? pretty new to subtitles as you can hear heh.

    thanks.

DVD subtitles can’t be done in Premiere, they have to be done in the DVD authoring program. If you haven’t already done so, you can post your question to the Cow’s DVD Authoring forum, or to the forum of your authoring program of choice (Adobe Encore, Sonic DVDit, etc.).

I recomend Encore… It’s easy to learn, intuitice, and integrates well with premier.
