    Hi, all —

I’m trying to export a Premiere Pro 1.5 sequence to MPEG 1 for playback on a PocketPC. I use the Adobe Media Encoder and find that the option for “OK” when selecting either of the MPEG1 options (Standard, I guess, or for VCD) is greyed out. I can’t use MPEG 1. I can output to QT or WM, but not MPEG1.

Am I missing a codec somewhere? I just did a reinstall of Premiere Pro on the desktop machine and there’s no change about the availablity of MPEG 1.

I also have Premiere installed on my laptop, and the MPEG 1 option is available on that machine. Unfortunately, the media I want to MPEGize isn’t on that machine.

    Any suggestions?

It could be something as simple as the MPEG1 codec not being installed on your main machine.

As a quick get around, you could try Blaze Media Pro to do the conversion from the Premier AVI file, it’s free for a limited period too.

    BlazeMP can be downloaded here.
