  Weird timeline render issues

  Hi,

  I have a sequence that has different types of media files, in different codecs. I am trying to render the final sequence in Huffy. For some strange reason, it renders from the wrong area of the sequence whatever I do. The audio file seems to start in the actual sequence, but the sequence which is about 12 minutes long ends half way through. Although the time codes match with the length of the sequence, I have black video for pretty much half of the final render.

  I am at a loss to explain why this happens. It plays fine from the time line in Premiere and is fine when exporting as DV Avi.

  I am not sure if this is a Huffy issue or am i doing something wrong?

  For anyone else who might have the same problem:

  After doing some extensive research and testing – this appears to be a Huffy-Premiere incompatibility problem.

  I wanted a Mpeg2 stream that I could author in another program – and since i could not find a way that premiere would give me that without burning a DVD – I was stuck.

  I finally resolved this by frame-serving through Debugmode and using CCE. Warning though when installing Debugmode – make sure that the “.prm” file is put into the “Common” folder as otherwise Frameserving does not work.

  If anyone else has another solution – please let me know.
