I edit in the Timeline.(Premiere Pro) I preffer this way… but every time I make a cut the cursor (red hair) stay in the same position and i have to manually move to where the new cut is create in order to add a transition or whatever.
The question is: Might I give an instruction or make a setup that when I make a cut the cursor jump to the new cut?
    Or PPro don’t give this?

    Thanks for the response
Yes, of course but I’m speaking that PP do it automatically… better yet if add a transition automatically too.

    I could be dreaming.. eh?

It does it automatically when you use other editing techniques.

How would it know what transition you would want automatically ?

Maybe you could put in a feature request:

Funny answer. I were thinking on that when i wrote the message… je je
But when you hit Control D the preselected xsition takes effect.. and is not reading my mind… that I’m reffering to.
I have notes of “I wish to” Sadly the coming versions or the developers dont make this search when making the programing … as I know.
This remember the great sucess of JVC & other manufacturers when they made this search between users at WEVA.
