  16:9 aspect ratio questions

  1. I apply transitions to 16:9 captured video and still photos and I get jumpy transitions. It seems that the transitions are geared to 4:3 aspect ratio. How do I ensure smooth transitions?

  2. Is there a way to set a new project for 16:9 aspect ratio input and output ?

  Transitions shouldn’t be affected by ratio. I guess your project settings and clips are all 16:9? Stills work just about in any size so ratio shouldn’t be a challenge there.
  Are you using Adobe transitions or a plug-in like Hollywood FX?
