Chroma Key Renders
We are attempting to use After Effects to do some chroma keys. Once we import the files into Final Cut Pro, the clips look strange, almost like they are playing at a slower frame rate. These files were rendered with field render turned off. I thought maybe that was the problem and have rendered again with field rendering set to lower field first. That has taken care of the “funky look” problem, but the files with the lower field rendering look blurry.
Here are the settings we used for the render: Quality-Best, Resolution-Full, Size-720×480, No Proxies, Effects-Current Setting, Frame Blending-On for Checked layers, Field Render-Off, Pulldown-Off, Motion Blur-On for checked layers, Frame Rate: 29.97.
The only thing I changed on the second render was changing field render to lower field first, which as I said made the chroma key look blurry.
Do you see anything wrong in these settings that might be causing problems?
Thanks
Jeanne
