  black borders

  Hi,

  I have my dual processor running XP with a Decklink Extreme capture card hookup, using Premiere Pro. My main concern is to capture an analog feed directly from broadcast. Later, I’ll be getting a SDI feed.

  But, when using Adobe Premiere Pro,My capture produces black borders when using the Blackmagic default settings. I would rather capture at a 640×480 size, but I get a noisy signal when I try to import. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

  What are your capture settings? Is the frame size of the footage you are capturing greater and less than the project settings?
