  Compresing for web

  I was wondering if you can give me an advice or refer me to a good site that explains what kind of codecs and settings you use on projects in Premiere Pro 1.5 that are meant to be viewed on the web with WMP or similar viewer.

  I tried using the DIVX AVI but obviously I used ad settings as the file ended up being huge and it’s a 15 minute video.

  15 minute videos are considered extremely long for web use. I usually use files that are about 4MB per minute (around 512K data rate) which would make it a 60MB file.

  I use 320X240 for regular 4:3 video and almost always export using the Adobe Media Encoder to encode to WM9.
