  Smartsound problem

  I have a notebook computer that I am using “on the road” to edit with. For some reason when I try to import a “.wav” file into Premiere Pro 1.5.1 I get a “Smartsound Quicktracks for Premiere Pro” window to select music. The wav file I am trying to import is not a smartsound file. If I cancel it the window goes away but the file is not imported. If I say “ok” it continues the process of importing Smartsound. Consequently I cannot import anything except smartsound audio. Any recommendations?

  There is an free upgrade on Smartsound website to solve this problem. Version 3.02.
