  Error reading ‘Failed Creating File’ when exporting to tape

  How frustrating. After capturing 90mins of analogue footage to Premiere Pro 1.5 timeline, I was able then to export 60 mins to tape as per instructions in manual. My last 30mins of footage I then tried to export to a new tape – continuous timecode put down; save/record switch in correct position; work area set above timeline; but when I go to ‘File’ ‘Export’ ‘Export to tape’ a window flashes up on the screen with:

  Matrox DV-1394 Device Control
  Failed creating file

  This appears under a variety of conditions; I
