  Boris Red in Premier Pro

  Coming off 10 years on Razor, Boris became a favorite and most valuable tool. Since I am now tring to get the new Premier Pro interface into my head – I would like to keep using Boris so I have one tool I already know how to use.

  Boris installed and works perfectly under PP… the change can be seen on the time line and srubbed without any problems. HOWEVER – When Premier renders the area which Boris is affecting, it locks up when it gets to the last frame and you must either quit the program through the error dialog box or risk crashing the program on the next move.

  The interesting thing is that when PP re-loads the file it saved on the forced exit, the rendered Boris effect is in place and plays without any problem. If you try to move it though, it again locks up the program.

  Here is the error generated by PP when it locks up:

  If anyone can shed light on this issue It would be a great help

  Dario,
  Try reinstalling the plugin to see if that help. If not, try deleting your Premiere Pro preference file during start up. This may or may not help. If that does not work, I would call up Boris to see what the problem might be.
