converting DVI to Component
Ok, I dont know where to post this so I do it here.
I’ve edited a short on premiere pro and I’m having the dirctor of photography coming over to direct the color gradings.
I have a grafic card Nvidia Quadro FX 500 (mainly for doing 3D graphics with MAYA), and it has VGA and DVI outputs on it.
Now, for the grading (wich I’m doing with After FX) I need to conect my grafic card to a Reference Monitor. How can I do this?
I think I’m going to have to convert the VGA signal to Component, but is that ok?
Is a VGA to Component converted signal as trustworthy as a signal from a grafic card with native Component signal?Should I use the DVI signal and convert that one? Can DVI be converted to Component?
Does reference monitors actually have a DVI input and am I thus actually facing no problem at all?
I hope some one can help me…
Thank You.
