  • Wobbly lines after exporting.

Hello. I have a very specific problem. I have a WindowsXP/1 Terr/1GB DDR Ram/Premiere Pro 1.0 machine with a Canopus DVRaptor RT2Max video card on an Epox 8HDA series motherboard.

We have a composition 1.5 hours long that we are trying to get to DVD. We first tried to export it to dvd. Worked, except we got these wobbly lines that were especially apparant when the camera panned or there was horizontal movement. We next exported an uncompressed Microsoft AVI file and burned a dvd in Vegas (Hooray for the Terr!). But we STILL had those wobbly lines!!

I’m looking for any and all help for this issue.

    Thanks.

In my experience, it is hard to beat the quality you get from Mastering Quality encoding in Canopus ProCoder for tricky footage that generates artifacts in other encoders.

Where do we get the ProCoder? We only have MainConcept MPEG-4 option when we export to DVD.

Canopus ProCoder is available from Canopus. Maybe you should look at MPEG2 from Premiere for DVDs before investing in more software.
