Where does the following question belong?
I am working on building my editing station. Coming from still photography I understand how important it is to have the correct setup to check color and cropping. So I am trying to determine the correct video I/O card and the correct SD broadcast monitor for my setup.
The ‘Art of the Edit’ seems more about the process then equipment. ‘Windows Hardware & Software’ doesn’t fit for this isn’t computer related. And finally ‘Broadcast Design’ and ‘Broadcast Video’ don’t seem to fit because this isn’t about broadcasting, but equipment.
Where would you recommend I posting a question about the right ‘program monitor’ setup for my first editing system?

I would post it in all of the forums you mentioned. By the way, do you know what software you want to work with? That will really help you decide on what you need.

Typically you ask a Television Engineer or Television Broadcast Engineer about monitors (a.k.a. displays) and cameras themselves. There`s enough to learn though that you`ll likely should learn it on the telephone or in person not make us type until our hands fall off.
