    Hi,
I use export to media encoder to make MPEG 2’s for encore, and for client approval. I like the MPEG 2 for approval, because they are much cleaner than MPEG 1. Several clients can’t play the MPEG2 in Windows Media Player. Is there a way to send along a codec that will allow them to play these files….I can play them fine on the computer that made them, but at home, I have a problem playing them as well. This makes me think there is a codec somewhere..?

Why not send them a DVD? If that is not an option, then how about a Windows Media file?

    Hi Aanarov,
I actually post the file to our FTP site for download the same day.
I find the MPEG 2’s have the best quality vs. size. I haven’t gotten the same mix with wmf.
