    Hello,

Am I to expect a certain amount of degradation when slowing down a clip? I read the post of a wedding photographer who was very pleased with Pro’s slow down capabilities. It leaves me with small fine lines, barely acceptable but not at all welcomed.

I have used durations of 33, 50, and 66 percent as perscribed by a post recommendation. Is there some other fine tuning I need to do, or should I forget perfection?

Will someone who is pleased with their slow motion settings tell me exactly what settings other than duration % that you use?

    Thanks,
    William

I have the same problem. I’ve been just slowing down the AVI in Virtualdub and then importanting that into Premiere. I have no idea why Premiere can’t seem to do this without making a mess of things. I seem to recall that it used to work fine, but the newer versions are more testy.

I’ve found the same problem. Slowing down a horizontal pan becomes unusable. It doesn’t appear to be interpolating between fields or frames. It was fine in V1.0

I did quite a bit of hiking in the Great Smokies a couple of weeks ago. On my search for waterfalls, I came across a bear who was willing to pose for me right out there in the middle of nowhere.

As for the falls, I am trying to slow them down but I am losing quality at every speed that I try.

I went from AP 6.0 to APPro 1.5 and have found 3 or 4 things that worked better in 6.0. I’ll check out “virtual dub”.

Posing or just thinking, Mmm that looks like a tasty meal! Or, Can’t a bear have a shower in peace these days?
