This came up last week, but I can’t figure out how to get Prem6.5 to export a timeline as an uncompressed (fullsize) avi. It seems to wanna default to Windows DV–which is kool–but I need to save an uncompressed video.

When I go into project settings and choose Video for Windows, my only options seems to be Cinepak codec. I don’t seem to be able to choose any other codec (I have many installed) nor opt for no compression.

Kinda weird, since AE defaults to this uncompressed output mode, when I choose Video for Windows.

Any 6.5 users still on this list know how to do it or what I’m failing to do?

    Thanx heaps,
    M

Have you tried Qucktime with NONE as the CODEC?

    Hey David,

As my dvd-transcoding software will accept .mov input fields, there’s no reason not to give this a try. (Hey, a windoze-free solution!).

    Thanx, for your helpful suggestion,
    M
