I’m building a new machine, and all is pretty much selected, except the video card.
Last time I chose NVidia GeForce2 Ti200, even thought it seems to be more of a gamers/prosumer card, and I’m not a gamer.

Can I do better now, considering that I’m going to use it for video editing ?
I guess it depends, but is it better to choose something like Matrox RT X100 or the like, or will any card do ?

[Dennis] “is it better to choose something like Matrox RT X100”

That really depends. The Matrox cards are primarily for realtime editing and do not serve as graphic cards.

oh.. I thought that Matrox RT.X10 does have an video-out for monitors. Not sure about Matrox RT.X100 though, but probably the same thing.
