I won an XL2 and I shot some video for this project that I am doing. I guess I am stupid, I thought the 24p was just a cool mode that made it look like film. Now I am having trouble editing. My project is in 24p mode and I have both 24p footage and regular DV footage. When I export I think I need to export as DV to put it on a DVD to watch right? This seems to work, for the most part, but there are some parts of the 24p footage that appear to flicker and tremble. I understand that this is because of the frame rate and how 24p works, I do not understand why this happens to only some of the clips. Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Haven’t really worked with 24p, but if you head over to the Adobe forums, there is a known bug regarding 24p.

BTW…A stupid person cannot win an XL2 😀

Hi. I shoot on a dvx100a and the 24p mode is prob. the same. what you can do is, if you don’t plan on doing a film transfer, is recapture your 24p footage as ntsc. that should work.

the 24p actually is ntsc with a pulldown applied.
