• Adobe After Effects

  AE7 crashes when I close it…

  Using the AE7 trial version…
  The program starts up in japanese mode by default on my PC. This mode seems to work just fine. If I start it with the english version link though, then every time I close it, it will crash! Also, the font used on the english version is impossible for me to read. It is using one of my Japanese fonts instead of a standard windows font. Is there any solution to either of these problems?

  On a completely different note, I noticed the effects are arranged differently now. Is there anyway to arrange the effects the old way?

  Hi,

  I don’t have Adobe After Effects 7.0 but did you try reparing it? Go in “Uninstall Adobe After Effects 7.0” and choose repare or reinstall.

  This is just one of the many solutions to resolve your problem (the last one, preferably .)

  Yep, I’ve done that, and that didn’t help!

  I had the same problem – the solution which worked for me was to update my video card drivers – this fixed the problem…I hope this helps.
