Alright, so I’m working on a project which requires Twixtor. This is the first time I’ve ever used the plug-in, and I’m having some troubles. The scene that needs slowing is an outdoor party, but the issue is that many of the people in the crowd are waving sparklers back and forth. When I slow it down to about 25% it looks almost as if the sparklers are extremely jumpy. There’s nothing smooth about this clip at all right now. I guess I’m asking whether there is a solution that I just don’t know about, or perhaps it’s a lost cause because of the speed of the sparkler flares. Just FYI the video is full HD, and the shot is a MCU of the crowd. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Would be worth to send to a short section (to techsupport at revisionfx dot com) to see if anything is possible. I might be totally off here as I am not seeing the video but maybe there is a way to key out the sparkles to do it in two passes or something?
