Am I missing something? Okay, how do you register plugins in the AE 6.5 render engine? It’s fine if you install the plugin, then when your watch folder render kicks in and the plugin initilizes for the first time a screen may pop up asking you to type in your serial info. But some plugins (like Trapcode Shine) have you input the serial in the Options for the plugin. No popup comes up. So when I render in the render engine, I get “demo” frames. And you can’t open a comp up manually in the render engine. Am I missing how this is done?

In case of the trapcode plugins, there is a special activation tool. Download it from the website. Similarly other plugins will offer you a chance to install render-only versions and activate them properly via whatever licensing scheme they use.

Thank you! I didn’t see the Trapcode utility way down on the bottom of their page. Got it now! Thanks again. I knew there had to be a solution.
