  Kaleidoscopic Animations in Lyric Videos?

  I’ve noticed a lot of lyric videos using this style of animation for instrumental sections but I can’t find any videos/posts about this subject specifically

  I can tell that there’s a reflection in both directions but I can’t figure out what kind of method someone would use to do this. Are there any videos/posts on this subject? I would think so considering how widespread this is? Anyone familiar with this?
