    Hi there,

I need to make my footage look as though its coming from an insect’s POV. I haven’t shot it yet but I’d like to stay away from filming through a Kaleidoscope if possible.

Does anyone know of a way to tile footage so it looks kind of like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcLV1_J2-n4

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Kelly

Try adding CC Tiler to your footage, and drop the effect’s scale. This will give you lots of small versions of the shot.

Then try adding Circle, feathering it quite a bit, then in Blending mode, set it to Stenicl alpha.

Then if you add CC Hex Tile, you can create a series of hexagonal views of the same shot, but the edges are blurry.

Please ignore the fact the photo is Kate Winslet, I’d just been using a meme of her and it was the first thing I had to hand
