  Advanced Extendscript GUI

  I used to do a lot of scripting in AE about 5 years ago but took a break to work on more advanced applications build in python. I’m coming back to Extendscript to work on a few new projects and I notice that in the last few years scripted GUIs are looking MUCH nicer than what I used to do, however I can’t tell how people are doing them. Browsing aescripts.com I see a lot of beautiful work out there.

  Does anyone know what these guys are using to create these highly customized and interactive GUIs? Do I really just need to up my extendscript game or did something new happen in the last few years?

  Hey Spencer, most of nowadays scripts comes as Extensions in CEP HTML panels. So basically Extendscript takes place as a back end of a script.
