  • Cross-fading / dissolving transitions between two compositions?

My main timeline is made up of compositions, and each of those are made up of layers imported from Illustrator. To create a cross-fade / dissolve effect between any two compositions, I tried keyframing the opacity, but instead of the entire composition being treated as a single layer that fades into the other composition, the opacity affects each and every Illustrator layer within, and they all appear on top of each other (as if they have a “Darken” blending mode) whenever the opacity of the composition is set to anything under 100%.

Is there any way to fix this? Are there other crossfade transitions that don’t rely on opacity keyframing?

Maybe your composition is pixellized, meaning that the little sun is activated. De-activate it and I think the opacity keyframing will Work.
