  How would you animate a tear drop falling on a phone?

  Hi! I am not a super hero in After effects and I get to animate a teardrop falling on a phone. I was wondering what effects would you guys use to make this happen?

  The footage is a very high over the shoulder of someone holding a phone. Almost POV. At the moment I have a PNG of a water drop which gets scaled smaller while moving from the top of the screen to the middle. And in the middle of the screen it should somehow shatter into smaller pieces or dissolve into a blop or something like this.

  Anyway, I was wondering how would you guys attack this problem?
