Film Equipment
I will be graduating soon and hope to be a videographer. Do you suggest I rent equipment according to the project, or go out and buy some equipment, such as the Red Camera?

Rent it. It will save your money and also will give you a chance to learn the ins and outs of various equipment and what are the strengths and weaknesses of each.
