I am trying to see if there is a way to reference a specific area in a composition and have that area link to a mater template comp for rendering.

    – I have a composition that has a template inside of 10 rectangles, left to right, numbered 1-10.
    – I want to be able to edit multiple configuration of the rectangles in other comps and have them reference back to the master for rendering on the template.

    Example:

In one projection mapping configuration I have rectangles 1, 3, 5 together and want to be able to animate those next to each other. But in the mapping software I can only have one template, thus 1, 3, 5 are separated by 2 and 4.

Any thoughts on how to make this work?

    Best,
