  JSON files are being saved as After Effects JSON files and not working within After Effects

  My JSON files aren’t showing any data within AE.

  When i make a JSON file and then I look at it’s properties it is always saved as an “After Effects JSON” not “JSON” and then when I try to import it into AE it says it is type “ImporterDataStream”

  Not sure if that is the problem is but either way, no data is being shown in the JSON file when I import it to AE.

  I’m on Mac and AE CC.

  How is the JSON being generated?

  Your Grace Great Szalam,

  I’m just hard coding it right now, putting in placeholder information to be changed later. Can’t get the JSON file to register data at all though.
