  Change size with Slider controller

  Hey, hello guys!
  I’m creating a lower third for a client of mine.
  And to work with it without having to open the after effects I would like to create a “link” between the path of the rectangle (Path in Bezier) and a slider, but I have no idea how to do it.

  For example, I will put 3 gifs below, the first showing the movement in the slider, the second showing the action that I want to “linking” in the slider, and the third showing the keyframe that I want to change with this movement in the slider.
  Note that I want to change only the properties of the second keyframe, not the first (because it will be at 0, it will be where the lower one will start).

  Any idea how to do it? I’m not very good with expressions.

  My recommendation: make the rectangle with an open path — just two points — and a very think stroke. Add the Trim Path animator, then link its End property to your slider.

  Couldn’t you just put your anchor point to the left edge of the box and the just add an expression to the slider ?

  So put a slider on the box you want to scale and add this expression to the scale

  x=effect(“Slider Control”)(“Slider”);
  y=transform.scale[1];
  [x,y]
