  Duplicate Effect Plug-ins

  Hi All,

  I am getting a error message in AE about Duplicate Effects Plug-ins found on my drive. I followed another question on here to delete all the effects on the drive, which I did…for every version of AE I had current/prior. I then uninstalled all AE programs and reinstalled. Still, I am getting this error and cannot find the duplicates anywhere. Any tips on where more could be or how to get rid of this error? I am a total loss.

  Which plug in is it saying?

  This can be an issue esp. with third-party plugins that might duplicate a standard one. Plugins can be installed in multiple places in the user library, system library, and the app folder.

  The best way is to search for it by name, and set the search to “system files: include”.
