  Decontaminate Edges or Refine Edge- WITHOUT Roto Brush?

  So, I do a fair amount of roto work, and largely gave up on Roto Brush years ago since it is sooo slow and usually does not give me great results. The only thing I really liked about it was the ability to decontaminate the edge colors. Basically it just takes the colors from the inside edge of your matte and extends them outward so that if you have motion blur, etc, you don’t get the background colors coming through your feathered edge. Does anyone know a way (another plugin, technique, etc) to do this without first going through the whole, painstaking Roto Brush process first? I have everything masked already from Mocha.

  There are the refine hard/soft matte effects that can be used on any alpha channel.

  Thank you, Tero! That is exactly what I was looking for! I don’t know why I didn’t know about it before, but it will be my go-to from now on!
