How does After effects know that SBON7492000H is a subaru outback?
I searched my project window for Outback and it brought up only 1 clip…SBON7492000H.mov Now when i go look at the clip it does say subaru outback footage at the start of the clip..But there are no folders labeled outback or subaru in my project window…really there is no way it should know…so how does it?

Metadata or Path information. In the Finder, is it in a folder named Outback? If you look at the metadata is there a field that says Outback?

It’s in the meta tag.
We do it all the time. -
I did not see any meta tag information. IM on a pc. But I did try a experiment. I created a folder named youtube when i imported from that folder it also showed up when i searched for youtube
