I am having a problem with playback from ram preview. 1080p project. Simple graphics. I get a green cache bar but it still only plays at 10fps avg
I have 64 gb ram-latest video drivers- Not sure what the problem is?
    Thanks for any help

Might be totally unrelated, but I had problems in the past when I had the audio meter panel showing in AE. One of the forums suggested closing that panel. Closing it solved my problem. I don’t recall the exact issue I was having, but it was something to do with previewing.

Tried that…unfortunately still not working. Thanks for the suggestion.

What OS? What version of AE?
What size monitor do you have?
Do you have scaling set in your OS?

It could be that the duration is too long for the amount of memory or you might ned a fast cache drive.
