  • importing premiere project in AE problem?

Posted by Matthias on January 19, 2006 at 4:04 pm

First i run premiere pro 1.5 and AE 6.5. I can import a premiere project into AE if within the project my video is on only one track and i can only import one sequence at a time. If i import a project with one sequence and it has video on multiple video tracks (example: i have a video clip in track one and then i have another in track 2 overlapping track 1 with oppacity settings) it freezes AE. Any one have any solutions?

Try to make a new premiere project then import that to see if maybe your project is corrupted. You might even try importing your PPro project into another pPro project then importing that into AE on import pay attention to the dialogue.

ive tried it with different projects so my projects arent corrupt, if i was to import a pproj into AE, lets say to do some color correction, is there a way to save it and then bring it back into premiere with out having to export it as a video file?
