Hello, happy to be able to write in this forum for the first time.

I have a small (big) problem.
I have to make a simple animation, a layer of 3D text, with the 3d cylinder effect.

The problem comes when I need to export this animation using bodymovin / Lottie to convert it into a JSON file.
Lottie does not yet support expressions, or any effects from the effects menu.

Is there any way once I have created the 3D effect, re-convert all the animation to 2D and have the keyframes?

It only occurs to me to redraw the shape layer in each frame by modifying the shape and position of each letter.

    Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, CC Cylinder thinks in pixels, not vectors. You might be able to Auto Trace [link] to derive masks from the animation, but it may not be a very clean or lightweight solution.
