  After Effect Composition background glitch?

  Alright, so a few days ago when I was editing a project in After Effects, I went to delete a file that I was using in the timeline and for some reason, the actual composition ‘Background Colour’ can’t be viewed and the file that I deleted has replaced it. Like, it only disappears when I put a solid layer over this. It is getting kind of annoying since it now shows up as the comp background on EVERY project I open up.

  Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could potentially fix it?

  Purge memory and disk cache, restart After Effects, restart computer…
