  How can i use my Radeon card?

  Hi everyone! (Sorry for bad English)

  *I work with many particle…*

  I can’t use my “Radeon (TM) RX 470 Graphics” card to previews.
  

  I try to fix it with edit this files in aae files but it isn’t work:
  

  I searching for solution when i found this:
  https://www.amd.com/en-us/solutions/software-partners/adobe/solutions
  There’s on a “Adobe® After Effects® CC” we can see previews with AMD card.
  If this web true then i can enable my card somehow or am I mistake?

  How can i enable my card in aae?

  My pc important parts:
  Radeon (TM) RX 470 Graphics (8 gb & oc)
  AMD FX-8320E (8x core)
  12gb 1666 mhz (Kingston)

  AE uses CUDA for ray-tracing gpu acceleration. CUDAs are Nvidia only features. I’ll guess you can’t enable that on AMD.

  Anyway, that check will have ZERO influence while working with any particle plugin (its for the built in Ray-Tracer engine). The plugin must support GPU acceleration within itself.

  The ray-traced renderer, the settings you’re looking at in your screenshot, has nothing to do with particles or with anything most people use After Effects for. I wouldn’t worry about it at all. 🙂
