  Mask tracking field border

  Hi all,

  wondered if you great guys could provide some inspiration/knowledge.

  I have captured some aerial footage of a plot of land, the client has requested a border around the field. I have tried to track a mask around the border and applied a stroke which works, the issue is that the shot doesn’t contain the whole field in shot and and pans from one side to the other so points in the first frame aren’t in the last frame (if that makes sense) so the mask doesn’t hold to the video.

  Does anyone have and ideas on how I can improve this or a different method ?

  Depending on how your shot moves, Mocha to get a planar track or the 3d camera tracker. 🙂
