Premiere Pro CC(2018) to After Effects CC(2018) wrong video clip settings
Hello!
I’m new to After Effects, and I tried to replace a video clip from Premiere Pro by using “Replace with an After Effects Composition”. The thing is, when it Dynamically links to After Effects, the frame rate and video clip duration does not match with the Premiere Pro File.For example:
Premiere Pro: Clip is Orignally 30 Fps, but I changed it to 24 Fps.
When it arrives in After Effects, it reverts back to 30 Fps.Also,
Clip Duration is 1 minute.
Premiere Pro: Video is cut from (start point) 30 secs until (end point) 35 secs.
When it arrives in After Effects, it‘s does not match.help

In premiere, I used “interpret footage” to change the fps.

I just ran a test using the “interpret footage” option. The new frame rate dynamic linked to After Effects without any problems. I’m not sure what is going on. I love working with 24fps but will get footage that is 30fps. My workflow is to have a 24fps timeline and I just bring in the footage as is. So I will get more of a 24fps look once done. When I export out a clip and bring it back into Premiere is always lines up. Hope this is of some help. Also, I’m on V12.0.1

Okay, I found the problem. My premiere was V12.0.0, which apparently had bugs. So, I updated to V12.1.1 and everything went really well!
