Why copying and pastıng keyframes dublicates the layers?
Posted by Onur Uygur on April 25, 2018 at 9:08 pmIf keyframes in one layer, I can copy keyframes and paste it. But if I copy some keyframes from different layers when Im pasting it. it creates new layers. How can I solve this problem? Any idea?

April 26, 2018 at 9:44 amAfter Effects will not allow you to copy and paste keyframes across multiple layers at the same time.
To do that you need a script, such as this one:

April 27, 2018 at 2:32 pmNo lasso tool in AE but just draw a bounding box around just the keyframes with the main pointer tool. Try unselecting everything first if that doesnt’ work and just bounding box the keyframes without first selecting the layer.

April 27, 2018 at 9:16 pmMarcus Round is correct. you can’t copy/paste properties of different layers, only in the same layer.
you can do this using these scripts:
https://aescripts.com/paste-multiple-keyframes/
